Resident Evil 7
Play Video
Step into a Resident Evil experience quite unlike anything you’ve ever encountered as the series embarks on an ambitious approach that plunges you neck-deep into an adrenaline pumping nightmare. Trade the series classic third-person gameplay and stylized visuals for an unsettlingly realistic, first-person adventure, filled with a grueling atmosphere, stomach-turning design and a hauntingly unhinged cast of new characters. Set among the isolated rural estates of America’s deep South, nothing is quite as it seems and nowhere is truly safe....
For our special launch edition of the Marvel’s Avengers War Table, our Crystal Dynamics team wanted to go BIG, so we revealed new details on the weekly gameplay ritual, new game modes, and a new Hero. Read on for a recap.
Operation Taking Aim
The Avengers Initiative will evolve over time for years to come. Each addition combines and builds over time to a much larger series of story arcs. We’ve discussed missions in the past, but now it’s time to share some intel on Operations!
Kate Bishop is officially the first Avenger to join our roster after launch, voiced by fan-favorite Ashly Burch. In the comics, Clint – the original Hawkeye – took on Kate as a protégé. That being said, Kate is often the mature one in the face of Clint’s recklessness.
Operation Marvel’s Avengers: Kate Bishop — Taking AIM will directly advance from the conclusion of the Reassemble campaign, and includes a new villain for Kate to face off against.

The Outer Worlds made quite an impression on me last year, with its rich characters, morbidly hilarious dialogue, and the distinct stylish trappings of its capitalist space society Halcyon. The sci-fi RPG offered a funny and engaging adventure in moral ambiguity that made multiple playthroughs a must. Obsidian and Private Division add a new layer of galactic intrigue with their first expansion, Peril on Gorgon, which I had the chance to dip my toes into during a preview this week. Here’s what I gathered during an hour exploring the mysterious Gorgon Asteroid.
Fans of noir mysteries are in for a treat, as Peril drops the crew of the Unreliable right in the middle of a seedy scientific enigma. The expansion kicks off with an introduction to cocktail-wielding dame Minnie Ambrose,...

Road to Guangdong, written by acclaimed author Yen Ooi, is out now on Xbox One!
Road to Guangdong is a narrative road trip game about family, mixing driving simulation with story puzzles.
Yen Ooi is the author of the sci-fi novel “Sun: Queens of the Earth.”
I’ve always been passionate about learning how to write for different formats and platforms. I love storytelling that spans across multiple media and story franchises that are able to hold audiences captive through various experiences. And in my journey as a writer, I’ve learned that storytelling is about creating engaging environments, rounded characters, and well-paced plots to reveal compelling stories.
However, applying good storytelling to different media for different audiences requires different skill sets and understanding. Here are some comparisons I found while working on Road to Guangdong.
Over the past few weeks, consumers have seen something special appear on store shelves. Monster Energy and Halo Infinite have partnered together to bring a unique experience to cans emblazoned with the Master Chief, delivering exclusive in-game items as well as a unique Snapchat experience.
Partnerships like this don’t happen overnight, and this one has been in the works for a long time. While Halo Infinite has been delayed to 2021, we are excited to share that our partnership with Monster Energy will bring together our iconic global brands across the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe to celebrate the launch of Halo Infinite in 2021, and even offers a sneak peek at some exclusive new Halo Infinite multiplayer items.
Double XP Boosts are for use in multiplayer to double the amount of experience points earned during the time the boost is active, and you get one boost per can. Yes, that means...
Last month at the Xbox Games Showcase, we were thrilled to announce Peril on Gorgon, the first of two narrative expansions coming to The Outer Worlds. We’re less than two weeks away from launch on September 9, and today we’re excited to show you some new gameplay from the Gorgon Asteroid! Check out nearly 12 minutes of gameplay footage narrated by Game Director Carrie Patel and get a look at some of the exciting new content that you’ll find in Peril on Gorgon.
The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon takes place on the Gorgon asteroid, which was the site of one of the most ambitious scientific undertakings in Halcyon: the development and synthesis of Adrena-Time, a drug intended to improve the productivity of workers across the Halcyon colony. After an expensive development cycle and several failed tests, the Spacer’s Choice corporation shuttered the project, and the abandoned facilities became home to marauders and a motley band of SubLight contractors.

A flotilla of Italian Warships is headed to World of Warships: Legends in the new Veni, Vidi, Vici update. First and foremost is the new line of Italian Cruisers in early access: Alberto da Giussano, Raimondo Montecuccoli, Trento, and Zara. Equipped with reliable armament and torpedoes, the Italian Cruisers are...
