Hi, we’re Oasis Games, the first publishing partner of Sony Computer Entertainment Shanghai (SCES). As Chinese developers, we are working with Sony to bring local games to players in the United States and beyond. There are lots of game developers here and China is predicted to have a high growth in console gaming — but for this to happen local developers have to have a way to reach gamers outside of China.

That’s where we come in. By hooking up with the PlayStation team, Oasis is able to bring new games to players like you. And we’re excited about this!

What does this mean for you? Well, for starters, it means our game of adventure and exploration, Koi, will be the very first game developed in China that will come to PS4.

(Also, with Koi already winning awards it’s also the first...

Ahoy-hoy! I’m Dan, pleased to be here! I’m working on 10 Second Ninja X, a tough-as-nails platformer that works a bit like if Super Meat Boy French kissed Trials HD. You have ten seconds to kill all the enemies in each level. The faster you do it, the better rating you get; the better rating you get, the more levels you unlock. You are a ninja. The enemies are robots. Take out insurance on your PS Vita and cover your DualShock 4 in bubble wrap.

It’s blisteringly fast and every frame counts. There are dedicated retry buttons so you’ll be restarting over and over to get that perfect run. No lengthy gaps between checkpoints. No hand holding. You just need to prove that you can be perfect for about three to five seconds per level.

When you do achieve a coveted three star rating, that’s all you. It’s incredibly difficult, to the point where it’s maybe a bad idea for us to be putting it on PS Vita (a system that can easily be thrown across a room in a fit of rage), but we’re going to...

We’re proud to announce that Refactor, the world’s first Tetroidvania, is coming to PS4!

What is a Tetroidvania?

Taking elements from classic metroidvanias such as Super Metroid and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Refactor blends them with the falling block puzzle genre to create an entirely unique physics-based puzzle platforming experience.

The standard formula of a metroidvania is based off of the concept of an open world with gated progression. In Refactor you play as a tetromino, a four-block shape popularized by Tetris, with each of the shapes being tied to abilities that change the way you traverse and interact with the world.

For example, the square shape can be used to combat enemies or the line shape to leap great distances. These shapes can be further augmented by special abilities found throughout the world. While these...

Enter the Gungeon is done. Well, basically done. There is still work to do: bug fixing and balancing, and planning for updates — but we are at the end of the tunnel and our gunfight dungeon crawler will be available on PlayStation 4 on April 5. When I look at our game in its finished form, I feel incredibly proud of what our small team has been able to accomplish over the last two years. The game is so much bigger than our original vision, but it is also much better, more robust, and with more variety.

We know that variety is king in a game like ours, so when coming up with ideas for guns, we did our best to eliminate the word “no” from the discussion. We’ve tried to pack the game with as much fun loot as we could.

Enter the Gungeon will launch with 190 player-usable guns, ranging from pistols and rifles, to laser and beam weaponry, to much crazier weaponry as well. We have a gun that shoots sharks, a gun that shoots bees, a unicorn horn that shoots rainbows — there is a gun that...

The Behemoth’s Pit People is a fast-paced, turn-based co-op adventure. It’s also, according to Production Coordinator Ian Moreno, “The story of four tragically unique characters who come together in a quest through an apocalyptic wasteland.” Of course, this being the fourth game from the folks behind cartoony, quirky, critically acclaimed gems Alien Hominid, Castle Crashers, and BattleBlock Theater, you can bet “unique” is the key word in Moreno’s description. Sure enough, as my hands-on session began, a snarky narrator introduced a reluctant, no-neck hero named Horatio as “a humble blueberry farmer” facing a “spicy” situation. Said situation sees the unlikely...

It is the first game from our studio, Thunder Lotus Games, based out of Montréal, Canada. We are very proud to announce that Jotun is coming to Xbox One! The 86th annual Geneva International Motor Show kicks off this week in Geneva, Switzerland – and in the spirit of the event, we’ve got some big Forza news to share. Microsoft and Forza developer Turn 10 Studios are partnering up with Lamborghini to feature the all-new Lamborghini Centenario super sports car as the cover car of the next chapter in the critically-acclaimed Forza racing series. We’re not quite ready to unveil the title or any big details on the next Forza game yet – you’ll have to wait for our Xbox media briefing at June 2016’s E3 for that – but the Centenario will be available “First in Forza,” which means that millions of Xbox One owners across the globe get to experience the virtual version of this incomparable car before it makes its debut in the real world. With its V12 architecture, the Centenario’s naturally aspirated engine produces 770 horsepower, powers from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, and from 0-300 km/h in 23.5 seconds – with a top speed of more than 350...

As you know, Naughty Dog is wrapping up production on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End with the game on track to go gold and into production later this month. In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time.

Therefore, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has a new worldwide release date of May 10, 2016.

We know this news might be disappointing, and we are sorry to have to make you wait a little longer to play Naughty Dog’s latest. The good news is that the game is phenomenal — we are fully confident that it will be worth the wait and the team at Naughty Dog is eager as ever for you to experience Nathan Drake’s final adventure.

We thank you for your continued support for PlayStation.
