Hello PlayStation fans! I’m Matt Gilgenbach, creative director of Infinitap Games. As a huge PlayStation fan myself, I’m pleased to announce that my atmospheric horror game Neverending Nightmares will launch on PS4 and PS Vita in the 2nd quarter of this year. All the scares and thrills of the original version are there but with a host of new improvements.
Neverending Nightmares is a very personal game for me because it’s meant to metaphorically express the experience I’ve had dealing with mental illness — specifically obsessive compulsive disorder and depression. It was a real challenge to develop a game to express those dark feelings, but my team and I have created a unique interactive experience. I know I called it a “game” up above, but I think “interactive experience” is a more apt description.
Neverending Nightmares is designed to explore the darkest and most negative emotions — fear,...
Fans of shooters, brawlers, and multiplayer mayhem should circle Tuesday, March 1st on their calendars: that’s when you can finally download Square Heroes on PS4! It’s been a long journey and the Gnomic Studios team can’t wait to see it in the hands of PS4 gamers.
Everyone Loves Multiplayer!
There’s nothing more satisfying than mowing down your buddy, hearing them curse, and then doing it again just to rub it in. All of us at Gnomic Studios grew up playing games like that, and the design of Square Heroes has been driven by a desire to recapture that feeling and share it with others. It’s a great party game: easy to pick up, but hard to master — and most fun when played with friends.
Ideally you’d be sitting close enough to your friends to punch them in the arm when they frag you for the fourth time in a row. If that’s not possible,...
The Molasses Flood’s new roguelike survival epic, The Flame in the Flood, hits Xbox One and Windows PC today. Watch this new trailer – go ahead, we’ll wait – because this is one unique, very special game that we think you’re really going to dig. Pretty cool, eh? The Flame in the Flood tosses you into the literal backwaters of a post-societal America, and sends you on an upriver journey of survival and discovery. As a young girl named Scout – whose quest for survival means meeting bare everyday necessities like sustenance and warmth – you’ll spend your time foraging, crafting, upgrading your all-important raft, interacting with some very odd and memorable characters, and doing your best not to get eaten by lots of predators that want very much to eat you. Fortunately, you can rely on your trusty canine companion Aesop, who can help you scout for supplies, sense danger, and help you stave off the horrors of loneliness that come with such a harsh world. Ingenuity and determination are...
Far Cry Primal, out now on Xbox One, promises to transport players to the world of the Mesolithic, back to the first sparks of human civilization 12,000 years ago – when man was not yet at the top of the food chain. Instead of throwing together some primitive grunts for protagonist Takkar and calling it a day, the developers from Ubisoft Montreal sought out linguists Andrew and Brenna Byrd, a husband-and-wife team from the University of Kentucky who, in their words, “bonded over the Rosetta stone” back in college. We’ve seen languages created in movies and TV shows before: Klingon... See the rest of the story on Xbox Wire
Trillion: God of Destruction is a PS Vita strategy game where you must stop a demon, Trillion, who seeks to consume the whole Underworld. The catch? Trillion’s got one trillion HP. You’ve got six Overlords to defeat him. In your first playthrough, not all of them will survive.
So how exactly do you beat a boss with 1,000,000,000,000 HP? I’m here to give you an overview of what it means to prepare for a boss like this.
I’ve played all kinds of great strategy games, from Phantom Brave to Valkyria Chronicles. But with about 50+ hours of gameplay, none have had a longer, more punishing final boss battle than Trillion. But that’s my favorite thing about Trillion — a large portion of gameplay is done not only on the battlefield, but off it, during preparation.
Despite the strategy RPG label, Trillion also has strong raising sim elements, because you must train your...
Hello, Spartans – Bravo here. As many of you know, with Halo 5: Guardians we set out to continually transform the game, adding more content, maps, items, gameplay and overall Halo goodness long after launch. It’s easily the most extensive post-launch content plan for a Halo game ever, with free content releases like The Battle of Shadow and Light, The Cartographer’s Gift, Infinity’s Armory and, available today, Hammer Storm. For those keeping track, that’s 11 new maps, 12 new modes (including Big Team Battle and Forge) and more than 180 new REQ items – all completely free. But as a... Hello, PlayStation Nation! We’re now 16 days away from the launch of Hitman on March 11th. 16 days!
In that time, we’ve got some great things to share with you. Let’s get to it.
As you know, we released the Hitman Beta on PS4 two weeks ago and gave you the chance to play the beginning of Agent 47’s illustrious career and see how he joined the ICA. It was a great feeling for us to finally see so many of you playing our game — and thank you for all the feedback you sent our way, too.
The events of the Prologue take place twenty years before Agent 47 arrives in Paris — and that brings us perfectly to the first thing we want to share with you: it’s our new trailer, the Hitman “Legacy” Opening Cinematic.
The Legacy Cinematic bridges that twenty-year gap between the end of the Prologue and the Sanguine Fashion Show in Paris. We’ll let you enjoy it...
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is almost done. The game’s launch is right around the corner — April 26th, 2016! Up until now we’ve dropped small hints about Nate’s final adventure. It’s time to finally pull the curtain back and give you the official Story Trailer. But before jumping into it, a warning:
We’re being careful not to reveal too much — but story trailers by their very nature contain some story spoilers. If you’re on a media blackout… what are you doing here? For everyone else, we have what we consider to be the best trailer in Naughty Dog’s history.
Still with us? Good. Enjoy:
As you can see, there’s quite a bit at stake for Nathan Drake’s closing chapter. The team is working extremely hard to deliver our most ambitious game to date. We can’t tell you how excited we all are for you to play the final game.
Hello, this is Petr from Grip Digital, here! For our entire team, I’m glad I can finally announce that our game McDroid is coming to PS4 on March 1st. The release date is really close and we look forward to seeing you play the game.
If you don’t know McDroid yet, it’s a mix of action and tower defense genres developed by the great team at Elefantopia. You take control of a cute little robot called McDroid who crash lands on a lush planet infested with alien scum. In order to repair your ship and heal the planet, you will have to show the aliens some close encounters of the lethal kind.
As I wrote earlier, McDroid is a combination of tower defense and action. You will have to build your base and defenses, harvest resources, and discover numerous sci-fi weapons as...

So what can you expect as a bro in Broforce? You’ll fight evil and rescue bro teammates using fire, napalm, and whatever else you find in the name of freedom. We hope you enjoy this run ‘n’ gun shooter with up to four of your closest bros.
